From Cougar428@VERT/CJSPLACE to ALL on Sat Jun 7 18:20:11 2025
Just started watching "BBS" the documentary by Jason Scott. I have only
watched the first segment where they talk about CBBS and how it all
    started.

Anyone else watched this? I think it's older, but it's pretty
interesting so far. I have the DVD version that's 3 discs. I did start
BBSing in around 1990 or so, and at the time there wasn't anything like
    it.

... I was on a roll till I slipped on the butter.

Yup (I'm even in it, a bit). Glad you like it!

I think it was just in the 'Make it pay' episode. Here's the original unedited interview with me for the BBS documentary, if you're ever really bored and want to kill an hour (and probably feel a bit of vicarious embarassment for my over-inflated ego and lack of humility at the time):

Wow! Thanks for the link, I enjoyed watching the unedited interview and
don't think you showed any instances of inflated ego or lack of
humility in the clip. Just a question, when was the interview? And when
    was the documentary released?

I watched the first disk and noted that a select piece of the interview
was in the bonus clips on the first disk.

Hard to think that while I was just sitting back using bulletin board
systems, you were busy writing and making them better! I think it takes
a special sort of creativity to do that. So thanks!

Hope you have a wonderful day!
